This is becoming particularly clear due to current events around the world: if you enter Disneyland Paris in Marne-La-Vallée, about 30 kilometers from the gates of the French capital, everything suddenly seems more carefree, more colorful, happier and more relaxed. This is certainly also due to the loose measures of the crown in France. The mask requirement is lifted. Guests aged 16 and over must present a vaccination certificate at the parks entrance, and 3G applies to young people between the ages of 12 and 15. Disinfectants are available everywhere, only a limited value is given at generous distances. And visitors can pose again for photos with the figures. A piece of old normality.
It’s a great way to celebrate a happy birthday. And for the 30th Disneyland Paris has come up with a lot: in addition to the new merchandising offers that not only make collectors’ hearts beat faster, but also the culinary refinements, the exciting daytime show “Dream… And Shine Brighter!” (Dream and Shine Brighter) and the Disney D-Light Drone Show, fantastically illuminated at night Another attraction: the “Giardini delle Meraviglie” (Garden of Wonders), where art meets nature.

New thematic areas are also planned. The Avengers Campus is scheduled to open this summer at Disney Studios Park. This is where the superheroes of the Marvel universe find their kingdom. In addition to an interactive Spider-Man tour, one of the highlights is the Iron Man roller coaster. It replaces the “Rock’n’Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith”. Promising news also for all fans of Anna and Elsa, the ice queen: the opening of the “Frozen” thematic area is scheduled for 2025. Another area is “Legends of the Force: A Celebration of Star Wars” . The three new areas are connected by a lake.
Stella McCartney wears Topo
So much for the music of the future – back to the birthday year and then to the glittering fashion shows: the new show “Dream. . . and Shine Brighter! ” runs several times a day at the Central Plaza in front of the recently renovated Sleeping Beauty castle. Colorful costumes, colorful floats, around 20 wonderfully dynamically mixed Disney songs, and last but not least, 30 Disney characters and dancers ensure a quintessential good mood program. Cowgirl Jessie from “Toy Story”, Peter Pan and squirrels A and B swing here along with Goofy, Pluto and Miquel – the latest from the movie “Coco – livelier than life” is the first time as a character in a parade of the gender at the same time – the hips. Obviously, Mickey and Minnie cannot be missing.
About Minnie: As a fashionista, she loves and lives fashion naturally! No wonder she is delighted to present her latest outfit, created by British star designer Stella McCartney (daughter of “Beatles” legend Paul McCartney): a lightly shimmering royal blue trouser suit decorated with black polka dots! The stylish looking combination is made from sustainable fabrics. The look beautifully emphasizes the mouse lady’s feminine curves and somehow you get the feeling: man, the outfit would have been great on former Chancellor Angela Merkel!
By the way: Visitors to the Studio Theater in Walt Disney Studios Park can see Minnie in her new guise until March 31st. By the way, she not only got her new clothes, but also Micky and her friends of hers.

Moving lighting show
The creators of the Disney Illuminations evening show have outdone themselves. Here visitors cannot fail to be amazed. As night falls, guests can expect a roller coaster ride of emotions, taking place at the landmark Disneyland Paris: a combination of video projections, illuminated water fountains, lighting effects, Disney songs, and most importantly, choreographed with 125 drones let the Sleeping Beauty Castle shine in a whole new light. Synchronously flying drones form the glittering number 30 in the sky, while the new anniversary theme “Un monde qui s’illumine” plays in the background. This new anthem was recorded with a symphony orchestra of 60 musicians at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London. On the facade of the castle, movie sequences of famous classics such as “Beauty and the Beast”, “Finding Nemo”, “The Lion King” or “Star Wars” are shown – unspeakably effective, excellently implemented. A simply compelling show.
Disneyland Paris opened the gates of Disneyland Park on April 12, 1992, followed by Walt Disney Studios Park on March 16, 2002 – 30 and 20 years old, respectively, and 375 million guests later, the two parks have lost none of their charm. And a trip to this realm of fantasies is simply beautiful in a world like the one we are living in these days.
