First of all, the requirements: Anyone who is at least 18 years old, lives in North Rhine-Westphalia and has a start-up idea can apply for the scholarship.
Persons who have already founded a business and whose registration in the business or in the commercial register has not been registered for more than twelve months can also benefit from the start-up contribution. The assumption is that the company is innovative. “The business idea must contain an improved product or process from the state of the art or a new service with clear customer benefits and unique outlets,” says Pinkwart.
