Until April 30: extended deadline for the Today For Future Award – climate protection

We are extending the deadline for submitting applications and we invite you to apply until April 30th. participate in the Today For Future Award and submit your project.

Given the great interest, the deadline for submission has been extended!

On December 31, 2021, the Today For Future Award saw the light. The newspaper “Today” created the award in collaboration with strong partners from science, the private sector, civil society and the public sector collect and reward the best and brightest ideas and projects in the field of climate protection.

Several hundred requests later we can proudly say: the projects presented make an invaluable contribution to the protection of our planet. Of course, we are more than thrilled with so much interest and commitment and would like to thank all attendees.

After the submission deadline of April 15, 2022, we have received many other requests and requests for an extension of the deadline for submitting projects. Now we would like to fulfill this request and give you the opportunity You have until April 30, 2022 to submit your project and participate in the Today For Future Award.

What sets the award apart?

The climate crisis is the biggest challenge facing our society. There is little time to solve them. To be able to avert the worst effects of global warming, we need systemic change, innovative projects to guide the energy, agricultural and mobility transition, and smart measures to be able to adapt to climate change.

What should be done?

Promote climate-friendly mobility, share street space equally, implement climate-friendly architecture and climate-friendly living, renovate existing buildings, facades or green roofs, preserve or restore natural areas, stop soil sealing, promote biodiversity and much more.

We look forward to your participation and wish you every success!

All participating contributions will be reviewed by our expert panel. Subsequently, the selected projects are modified today.at presented.
