If you have a head for heights, there are impressive high-rise hotels around the world that offer you spectacular views. There you can leave everyday life behind, spend the night at gigantic heights and enjoy the view above the clouds in the morning.
Statistics site Statista lists the ten tallest hotels in the world – and it goes up to 630 meters high! We will show you.
1. The J Hotel in the Shanghai Tower
Recently, this giant tops the list of tallest hotels in the world: the J Hotel is located in the 632-meter-high Shanghai Tower, the second tallest building in the world. By the way, the tallest skyscraper is Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, 828 meters high, if you want to stop too.
You have to climb a total of 128 floors until you reach the J Hotel. There you can, as far as your wallet allows, choose from 165 rooms and 34 suites. Impressive foresight doesn’t come cheap – according to the hotel’s website, you need to plan at least 4180 euros for one night. 2. JW Marriott Marquis Hotel, Dubai
Topping the list of tallest hotels at 355 meters, Dubai’s JW Marriott Matquis Hotel, the first of two towers opened in 2012 and has quickly established itself as a popular five-star hotel with modern design. Especially passing businessmen or couples check-in regularly.

3. Park Hyatt Shanghai
The Park Hyatt Shanghai at first glance creates a bit of confusion: it is located in the Shanghai World Financial Center, 492 meters high, and would therefore be the second tallest hotel in the world.
But: The hotel itself is only located on the 79th to 93rd floors of the gigantic building. However, it offers its guests spectacular views, such as the Huangpu River and Pudong District. Also, right next door is the Shanghai Tower with what is now the tallest hotel in the world: the J Hotel.
The Park Hyatt offers a total of 179 rooms, a swimming pool to relax and a fitness room to better climb the daily stairs – alternatively there is of course also an elevator.
