Just in time for the holidays, Crurated announces more NFT-powered split barrel auctions with winemakers from France and Italy

LONDON, November 08, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – As the holiday and giveaway season approaches, Crurated, a blockchain-based and member-based wine community, has released a new barrel auction program for the remainder of 2022. L The offering features some of the best French and Italian wine producers, and extends split barrel sales after a successful first round of auctions. The recently announced program allows Crurated members to purchase certified fractional barrels via blockchain and NFT technology.

The offer also gives shoppers the ability to customize bottle sizes and labels for the gift recipient or for themselves. Many manufacturers on the platform rarely, if ever, offer larger-format bottles, although collectors and buyers often ask for them. Split barrels now allow producers to determine the exact number and size of bottles needed. In many cases, the only way to have larger formats for auction wines is exclusively through Crurated.

The next round of split barrel auctions includes:

  • Domaine Gerorges Mugneret-Gibourg – from 7 to 13 November
